You know i thought about how to keep a marriage hot and i can't come up with a really clean cut answer. I mean you can do all you want to make it great but unless the other person wants to put in the same effort then it is pretty much useless.

When you find your mate, your friend, the person that God sends your way (God does send us people, we just don't notice them because the world has made us to believe in order to be happy we need the person to have a lot of material possessions. He's the person you wouldn't ever expect) write him or her a love note on the back of a picture that you took of something that is not a person or maybe it is a person maybe of the theater attendant at the theater he took you to for your first night out.

There is no secret to being married but it is work. Hard work not letting others distract your happiness with their unhappiness. Hard work not trying to keep up with the jonses but becoming your own jonses. Hard work getting through tough times without pointing and shouting at each other.

Love is not blind that's just something they tell us so that we keep picking the wrong man. lol
