OOOOH Snapz. Angie NG is the bomb.
I ran across her pic on Asian Models Blog and after scrolling past a few other great models i stopped on Angie’s spread for Farah Khan summer 2011 line.
A little info:
Angie Ng (born February 24, 1987) is a Chinese International Model born in Penang, Malaysia. She was discovered at the age of 19 by local fashion designer Michael Ong in a shopping mall in Penang. She was mentored by famous modeling guru Cilla Foong (Owner of established modeling agency Cilla & Associates). During the early years of Angie’s career she was based in Kuala Lumpur and quickly gained momentum in the modeling circuit working for big brands including DKNY and Marc Jacobs.[1]
In 2009 Angie spent the final year of her undergraduate studies in the U.K. and graduated in Law at the University of Reading, Berkshire. During this time she also modeled part time in London and was signed to London modeling agency Bookings Models.
Some of the projects Angie has worked on include walking runways at London Fashion Week for consecutive years 2008, 2009 and 2010, shooting the look book for Halston New York, appearing in J. Maskreys FW S/S 2011 fashion film[3] and also casted to be in a music video by DJ Ironik featuring Chipmunk (a remix of the song ‘Tiny Dancer’ by Elton John).[4][5]
Angie is the first Malaysian model to have modeled for superstar Lady Gaga’s designer Marko Mitanovski.[6]
In 2009 Angie was signed by modeling agency Model One based in Hong Kong.[7].
Angie won the FHM Girl Next Door competition in 2008 and has subsequently graced the magazine’s cover.
She was awarded the prestigious STYLO Fashion Grand Prix ‘Model of The Year’ title in 2010
In the Summer of 2010 Angie headlined the Farah Khan S/S 2011 Campaign
Angie was Cover girl for August 2010 edition of Malaysia’s leading fashion & Beauty magazine ‘Female’.
She has an older sister Mabel Ng who in 2002 was crowned Miss Malaysia World.
Angie is classically trained in ballet and modern tap, she can play the Organ and Guitar.
She is also a big fan of Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox 360.
