What Now

The legislature that states that women should receive equal pay got voted DOWN. What? i mean really understand what i am saying. The pay gap right now is about 23 cents on a dollar according to the department of labor.

Apparently wanting equal pay is just something that the senate believes gives us naggers out there to obsess about. Why should we change the way that things have been forever.

They say go to college and get an education and spend thousands of dollars doing it, to get a job that isn’t ever going to pay you to the fullest extent or not even the fullest extent how about the same amount of your male counterpart.

Well you can forget about it right now. You know what is hilarious about the whole situation the two senators that you would think would push it through were the main reason it wasn’t passed. I know what you are saying, “those stupid men how could they possibly understand?!” Sorry to let you know they weren’t men they were WOMEN!

They pretty much said, “the movement for pay equity is just the latest female fetish and shouldn’t be taking seriously”, WTF! It is always funny to me that the people that have the most to say are the ones that were probably stepped on and had to use their, well you know, to get to where they are and now they are in the seat to make decisions they not only forget the ones who voted to get them there, they turn around and drop a load right on us.

As if it wasn’t hard already for anyone male or female to find a job they have to go ahead and keep our pay at a housewife’s allowance.

After the job has decided that your credit is good enough, your clothes are nice enough, your hair is straight enough, and your smile is big enough and you finally get the job only to realize that the guy you are training with is getting paid the amount you would get after a year of working nothing but overtime and no vacations, and you started at the same time.

You know i always knew about the pay scale but to read in the Huffington Post that, ” the drive to ensure equal pay for equal work an “obsession” and not grounded in reality. Women don’t make less because of discrimination, the author contends. It’s all about the choices we gals make - you know, asking for flexible hours or taking time off to birth babies.”~Junie O’Niel

It upsets me to keep talking about this subject. I would hope that you all take this info and begin a revolution. A handmade revolution. If their business wont pay us equally then we stop working for them we start OWNING them. Keep that in mind when you are doing your job search.

Let’s stop thinking about how to desperately survive in this ravaged world we live in and remember that the world needs us. There is a reason why girls mature faster, think quickly on our feet and did I forget to mention that we supply those businesses that pay unfairly with the money to pay out.

I heard from a very smart person once that God didn’t put us here to LIVE FOR WORK. He has installed us all with a talent/gift and the sooner you figure that out we won’t have to depend on an act to be fairly paid, because we will be the ones writing the checks.
